MUSIC MACHINE
Starting with an infrared sensor,
triggeringthe motor, the system
spins to create music on the xylophone
and drum. With custom parts, a circuit,
a gear system, and a custom structure,
this music machine won the prestigious
Destination Imagination Renaissance
award and landed on the front page.

KINETIC SCULPTURE
The kinetic sculpture was built to be
completely mechanical, working like car
pistons. Behind the seemingly simple
pulsating hearts was a complex systems
of custom designed parts working together
to create the effect. Each rotation of the rod,
different circles pushed different dowels
with hearts forward and were brought
back with tension.

"COLLAPSING" ROOM
This 3D dimension room is not just
mimicking a cell but it was meant
to self-destruct triggered by a magnet.
Integrating seemingly stable props in the
room to fall, collapse, and crumble by one
reed switch. Using a closed and open reed
switch which connected to 2 motors
and an electro-magnet caused the
chandelier to collapse, desk to
fall, and fireplace to crumble.

6FT X 2FT x 6FT STAGE
I have built many backdrops and set peices,
but none quite like this one. Wanting to
depict the place between life and death,
limbo, this 6ft tall stage held up to 6 people,
had a proscenium, and could be collapsed to
fit through a standard door. Using in total of
~150 ft of wood, 200 screws, and a true deep
dive into engineering principles.

GIFT GIVING & MERCHANDISE
I love handmade gift giving, especially in a
world where time is our most valuable currency.
Laser cutting trophies for my robotics
seniors, custom hoodies for my Destination
Imagination teammates, a custom tree stump
sign for my high school teacher, and custom
picture frames for my mom away on a trip.

VIDEO EDITING
With competitions moving online during the
COVID-19 Pandemic, I was thrown into the
world of video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Now whether it is editing appreciation videos
for my loved ones, making documentaries,
or montage videos, my skills of what I can
do in Premiere Pro continue to grow.
TECHNICAL ARTS
My passion for art and technology grew simultaneously as I learned woodworking, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and engineering while also learning digital art, video editing, and calligraphy. Combining my passions often led to some novel projects and unique experiences.
